Casa Palizzolo belongs to friendly family Siino, whom we have been cooperating with for several years now concerning the rental of holiday apartment Il Giuccu. The name of Casa Palizzolo is linked with the village of Buseto Palizzolo, which you find sprawling up the hilly landscape of northwestern Sicily about 19 km from Castellammare del Golfo.
For us, Casa Palizzolo's appeal lies with its apartments' tasteful, well chosen furnishing and its wonderful pool as well as with its location, which seems perfect for both those who love nature and those who love culture.
It takes you only between 20 to 30 minutes by car to reach the gorgeous sandy beaches of Baia Cornino and San Vito Lo Capo, the two charming nature reserves Monte Cofano and Lo Zinagro as well as the highlight of the region, the temples of Segesta.
Trapani, significant for its salt pans, and the medieval mountain village of Erice are not far from Casa Palizzolo either.
Casa Palizzolo houses altogether three holiday apartments. We have chosen for your holidays two apartments with names quite fitting for the region:
- Apt. Segesta for 4 persons with two bedrooms (double bed; twin beds)
- Apt. Scopello for 2 persons with 1 bedroom (double bed)
Each apartment includes
- a live-and-eat-in kitchen with kitchen unit (incl. 4-plate electric stove, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, refrigerator with freezer compartment), dining furniture, a cozy sofa and TV;
- a modern bathroom (shower/WC/bidet, hair dryer);
- a furnished terrace (table, chairs, sunshade).
The apartments also feature air conditioning with heating device (extra charge for use), central heating and WiFi (extra charge for use).
Children’s beds/cribs for very young guests can be provided upon request.
The apartments of Casa Palizzolo share a washing machine (extra charge for use).
The inviting, 10 m x 5 m pool, which is in general open from April through October (changes due to weather conditions possible), and the pool area with sufficient loungers to relax on are shared by the three apartments of Casa Palizzolo. This also goes for the outdoor showers and the grill.
Parking: Each apartment comes with a reserved parking space on the premises.
A bakery, a wine bar and a gas station are about 1 km from Casa Palizzolo. A supermarket, a pizzeria and a restaurant are found at Buseto Palizzolo (ca. 2 km).
The nearest sandy beach (ca. 10 km) is gorgeous Baia Cornino with parking, restaurant and lido.
For a large choice of shops and restaurants, Castellabate del Golfo with its beautiful harbor is the nearest place to go (ca. 19 km).
