Oasi Azzurra – Holiday apartment at the sandy beach of Donnalucata

A terrace above the Mediterranean Sea

Oasi Azzurra at Donnalucata is lovely holiday accommodation in fantastic location at the fine and gently sloping sandy beach (great also for children), so we have decided to include in our offer. 

Also very convenient: The harbor and the center of Donnalucata with stores, restaurants and bars are a short walk (ca. 500 m) from Oasi Azzurra.
You can easily stop by the nearby bakery for some breakfast rolls in the morning, treat yourself to some fresh fish dishes at one of the restaurants in the evening, take a moonlight stroll along the beautiful seaside promenade to top off a perfect vacation day.

Oasi Azzurra's interior is defined by tasteful furnishing – it is simply con gusto as the Italians say. Friendly and well-traveled owner Stefania, who speaks English fluently, told us a bit about the decorative elements in the apartment, which she brought back from countries all over the world, amongst others Algeria, Tunisia, the Lebanon, Mexico and the USA.
The apartment's highlight is, however and without doubt, the terrace, which seems to float above the sea.

Oasi Azzurra is located on the 2nd floor of a house in a cul-de-sac, the Lungomare di Levante at sandy beach di Micenci, and accessible via an outdoor staircase.

The charming holiday apartment includes: a double bedroom with sea view window and air conditioning; a twin bedroom; a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet); a kitchen (incl. oven, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher) with granite countertop; a spacious living-dining room with fireplace and access of the sea view terrace.

The apartment also features TV, internet stick and washing machine. Use of air conditioning and fan heater is charged on site.

Sea view terrace - On the terrace you can make yourself comfortable on the deck chairs and garden furniture, relax and enjoy the fantastic view and the gentle sea breeze.

Parking & surroundings

If you want to get to know the surroundings of Donnalucata and the fascinating Baroque towns in southern Sicily, you are well advised to have a (rental) car at your disposal.

Parking: You can park your car in the public parking spaces along the road below the holiday apartment. During high season parking spaces may however be hard to find.

Southern Sicily – country of Montalbano and rich in Baroque art. If you know the Commissario Montalbano crime movies, you will recognize quite a few settings in the area around Donnalucata.

If you are interested in culture, take a closer look at the UNESCO listed Baroque towns of southern Sicily, for example Scicli only about 8 km off as well as Modica and Ragusa-Ibla.

Should you be planning to stay a bit longer, you might even take a boat trip from Pozzallo to Malta.
