Holiday villa with pool in the sunny south

Villa Carrubo, located in a tranquil holiday home area not far from the cheerful coastal village of Donnalucata near Scicli, is a holiday home where you feel at ease, with spacious bright rooms and large outdoor area.

Olive and carob trees provide for pleasant shade, colorful bougainvillea bushes for jolly touches of color. The pool, designed in lovely azure blue, is welcome on hot summer days, but the sea is not too far off either.

The holiday villa

A living room with fireplace, sofa and SAT-TV as well as a well-equipped, open kitchen (incl. refrigerator with freezer compartment, 4-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher), a double bedroom and a single bedroom are found on the ground floor of Villa Carrubo.

A staircase runs from the living area up to a kind of gallery with a small, cozy seating area and another double bedroom. The holiday home has got two bathrooms (WC/bidet/bathtub; WC/bidet/shower).

Furnishing of Villa Carrubo also includes WiFi and washing machine. A children’s bed is provided upon request and free of charge. 

Garden with pool

In the gorgeous garden around Villa Carrubo, you have got your privacy as Mediterranean trees and bushes screen the property from view.

There is a partly roofed terrace at the back of the house, which is accessible from the kitchen and the perfect spot for meals out in the open or to relax in the shade.

The pool area with the 5 m x 12 m pool to cool off or swim a few laps in and loungers to take it easy on is surely a highlight. 

Also at your disposal in the outdoor area: an outdoor shower and a small garden house near the pool with bathroom facilities and shower. 

Parking: A roofed parking space is available on the premises.

Surroundings of the holiday home

Vacation village Plaja Grande is about 1.7 km from Villa Carrubo and can also be reached on foot or by bike. Its gorgeous, long beach of fine sand borders on nature reserve Irminio.

Various bars, stores, restaurants and an excellent fish market are found at the cheerful coastal village of Donnalucata (3 km).

Marina di Ragusa (6 km) is a lively seaside resort with lots of restaurants and shopping facilities.

Tip for an excursion

UNESCO World Heritage listed Ragusa Ibla, the historic center of Ragusa, is absolutely worth a visit.

There are magnificent buildings to admire and nice, small bars and stores to stop by. Piazza Duomo, the heart of the Old Town, is where you should linger for a while to take in the atmosphere. The urban park Giardino Ibleo is an oasis of peace and quiet.
