If you love the sea, the sun and Sicily, you will feel at home at Villa Hibiscus, which lies in holiday home area San Lorenzo, apart from any larger roads and only a few steps from the beach.

Its well-tended garden is planted with palm trees, hibiscus and various herbs, which fill the evening air with their spicy fragrance, its interior is bright and friendly.

...and for up to 6 persons

The house sleeps up to 6 persons in three bedrooms, two with double bed and one with twin beds. Air conditioning with heating device is found in all the bedrooms.

There is a spacious, tastefully furnished living-dining room, a kitchen (incl. fridge-freezer, oven, 4-burner gas stove, dishwasher) and a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet). Both the living room and the kitchen open onto the outdoor area.

A washing machine is also at your disposal; a children's bed can be provided.

Outdoor area

If you don't want to take part in the colorful hustle and bustle at the beach of San Lorenzo, you can take it easy and let the light sea breeze caress you on the villa's furnished terraces.

On the roofed terrace in front of the house and screened from view, you can relax in the shade, read a book... and in summer even watch TV. 

If you are a sun worshipper, take it easy on a lounger on the large roof terrace, which is kissed by the sun all day long and from where, by the way, you have got a terrific view of San Lorenzo and the Gulf of Noto.

Also in the outdoor area: a grill and an outdoor shower.

Parking: You can park your car on the fenced premises.

Surroundings

San Lorenzo is a popular seaside resort at the southernmost tip of Sicily and well-known for its absolutely fantastic beaches.

There is a grocery store in town and there are small bars at the beach sections with service (open only during the summer months). Grocery stores and restaurants open year-round are found in the nearby larger towns of Marzamemi (ca. 2.5 km) and Pachino (ca. 5 km).

Tip for an excursion

An excursion to Modica (a little over 40 km) might be worth your while, not only if you are interested in culture.

Stroll through its countless small alleys and admire the richly adorned buildings and churches. Modica is UNESCO World Heritage listed and famous for its magnificent late Baroque buildings.

The town is also known for a sweet specialty - chocolate. Cioccolato di Modica is made a freddo (cold) according to a traditional recipe. So treat yourself to a cup of cioccolata Modicana (hot chocolate) and one or two of the many different dolci.
