Cilentano offers holidays of a different kind. Of course, comfort and service are our number one priority. As we also want to offer you the opportunity to get to know the local people and their way of life, we arrange for holiday accommodations at places not yet overrun by mass tourism – in line with our motto Natürlich Süditalien!, so that the local economy also benefits from your stay.
What vacationers benefit from: contact with the local people as well as enriching impressions and unforgettable memories of their holidays in wonderful Southern Italy.
Have fun choosing your holiday destination! If you wish for any tips and/or suggestions, we will be happy to help you on.
Avola – is famous for its almonds and Nero'Avola red wine. Its district Lido di Avola, where the holiday accommodations we arrange for are above all located, awaits you with kilometers of seaside promenade and a beautiful, partly serviced sandy beach. At Avola, restaurants and stores are within walking distance, so you don't always need your (rental) car to get around.
Catania – lies at the foot of Mount Etna and is the island's second-largest city (ca. 315,000 inhabitants). Catania is your destination airport, if you have booked one of the holiday accommodations we arrange for in the southeast of Sicily. A sightseeing tour of Catania's center with its cathedral and fish market is surely worth your while. Should you wish to spend your holidays near Catania, we can recommend the seaside district of Vaccarizzo, where charming holiday home Villa Allegra is located.
Ispica – in Val di Noto counts among the Baroque towns of southeastern Sicily worth stopping by. Wide, gently sloping sandy beaches are found in the area around Ispica, for example at Santa Maria del Focallo.
Marina di Ragusa – on the south coast of Sicily lies not only conveniently close to cultural highlights. With its long, golden-yellow sandy beach it is a perfect destination also for beach vacationers. At its picturesque harbor you see above all sailing boats lying at anchor.
Marzamemi – chic and hip – is a picturesque coastal village. Restaurants and nice bars line its large piazza, which at the weekends is the place to go "to see and be seen", where you can enjoy delicious fish dishes, where you can take part in or simply watch the lively going-on in the square. The accommodations we arrange for are located above all at bathing resort San Lorenzo about 2 km from Marzamemi.
Noto – is UNESCO listed and a must-see for travelers to Sicily. A stroll through the town takes you past breathtaking Baroque splendor. If you need a break to process all the impressions, stop at Pasticceria Caffè Sicilia and treat yourself to some of the delicious dolci. The holiday accommodations we arrange for are located, amongst others, at Lido di Noto, the seaside resort of the Baroque town.
Pachino – is known for its exquisite cherry tomatoes, the famous ciliegini di Pachino, which you should of course taste. Not directly at Pachino, but at the seaside district of Granelli with its long, gently sloping sandy beach, you can spend holidays at a wonderful accommodation we arrange for there.
Scicli – is UNESCO listed and spectacularly located at the intersection of three ravines. The small town's seaside resort Donnalucata with its fine sands and turquoise colored sea is where you can spend wonderful days at the beach and at one of the accommodations we arrange for there.
Syracuse – is a pearl at the seaside with a fascinating Centro Storico (UNESCO World Heritage listed), which is located on Isola di Ortigia. Several of the holiday accommodations we arrange for in the area are located somewhat outside of Syracuse, above all on green Isola di Siracusa, a peninsula south of the city.
San Vito Lo Capo – awaits you with a Caribbean-like and during low season hardly frequented sandy beach. Add the mountain panorama and the setting is simply perfect. Enjoy the picturesque landscape while spending your holidays at one of the accommodations we arrange for there.
Scopello – is an untouched corner of the world at the entrance to nature reserve Riserva dello Zingaro. Relaxing holidays at the seaside are guaranteed.
Lipari – is the main island of the Aeolian Islands and awaits you with an interesting and fascinating landscape.
